Discover the fabulous perennial landscape begonias that grow so well in South
Florida. This lecture will show you, with slides and live plants, the various
types of rhizomatous, cane, and other begonias that will thrive in your
garden. In the workshop that follows, each participant will learn how to
propagate these begonias and will pot up a tray of assorted cuttings to take
home. Price includes potting materials and begonia cuttings. After the
workshop, you will have the opportunity to expand your begonia collection from
a selection of mature begonias available for sale.

| Growing & Using Herbs in South Florida

In this open-discussion style lecture, with instructor Dennis Gretton of D&D
Growers we will cover topics including herbs that grow well in South Florida,
culinary and medicinal uses and combinations that grow well in containers.
Each participant will create their own container with a selection of herbs.
Everything from preparing the container, soil mix, and nutrients to choosing,
arranging and actually installing plants will be demonstrated. A large
selection of herbs will be for sale.
The Evening Herb Society of the Palm
Beaches will be present to assist and recruit members.
