Kimberly LaRue Certified Yoga Instructor, Licensed Massage Therapist and Holistic Life Coach will be our instructor. Kimberly has a unique and playful style, helping you delve deep into your innermost being. Her classes are designed specifically for each individual based on their particular and unique needs and leave you in a state of connectedness and balance: energized, yet relaxed. They are challenging, but easy to follow, and works to each level.
Class will be held outdoors or indoors- class vote decides. All levels welcome. Bring yoga mat, towel and water. Please refrain from wearing perfume and turn off electronics

| Farm-Your-Backyard- Vegetable Growing

Now is the time to begin planning your vegetable garden. Mounts Horticulturist, Mike Page and Arthur Kirstein, Coordinator of Agricultural Economic Development, will teach you how to successfully grow your own vegetables. This program’s focus is on establishing and managing small vegetable projects. Tips on site preparation, seedling establishment, planting, maintenance and harvesting will be covered.Register by June 16, this popular workshop has sold out in the past.

Entry Categories include: Plant Life, Animal Life, People in the Garden, Scenics/Landscapes and Nature Close-ups. Photos must be taken at Mounts Botanical Garden.
See winning photos from Mounts’ previous contests on display in the lobby of the Mounts building. Your winning photos could be on display or grace our various publications.
Official rules and entry form can be found on our website- mounts.org, .pdf under Calendar of Events tab & Mounts office in the Hutcheson Complex and also in the Garden Shop, which is open from Thursday to Sunday.
Judging Ceremony will take place on Saturday July 17, 1pm in Exhibit Hall A.
Award-winning photo journalist and educator, John J. Lopinot will be our Master of Ceremonies and Head Judge. Guest judge Greg Allikas, is also an award winning photographer and awards photographer for the American Orchid Society.
