Washed Ashore: Art To Save The Sea Exhibit Opening

Mounts Botanical Garden is proud to open its newest exhibit – Washed Ashore: Art to Save the Sea. This exciting exhibit features 10 giant sea life sculptures made entirely of marine debris collected from beaches to graphically illustrate the tragedy of plastic pollution in our oceans and waterways and to encourage conservation. The sculptures will be located throughout the 14 acres of the Garden captivating all ages – teaching environmental conservation and sustainability. The exhibit will run December 2, 2017 – May 31, 2018.
Admission will be charged during the run of the exhibit. Tickets can be purchased at the main gate. To schedule a group tour call 561-233-1757.

Members: FREE admission
Adults: $15 
Veterans and reciprocal members: $10
Children (12-5): $5
Children 4 and under: FREE admission
Group Tours: $18 per person (5 and older)

PHOTO CAPTION: Grace the Humpback Whale came to the Garden in July, direct from the United Nations. She will remain on display near Lake Orth and adjacent to the Great Lawn to promote the upcoming exhibit!
