Follow young Marcus as he learns valuable life lessons from his grandmother in her garden, discovering that both children and seedlings need “water and air and sunshine. And space to grow.”\n\n\n\nBring your preschoolers for a morning of storytelling, learning, and fun in the Garden, and help us grow a love of reading and learning together!\n\n\n\nAbout the Author\n\n\n\nMarcus Bridgewater, also known as the social media sensation “Garden Marcus,” shares the wisdom he learned while growing up in his grandmother’s garden, inspiring young readers to cultivate both plants and their own curiosity.\n\n\n\nAbout the Literacy Coalition & Read for the Record\n\n\n\nFor 20 years, the Literacy Coalition has coordinated municipal leaders, businesses and community members to make an impact through Read for the Record, a national early literacy initiative connecting adults and children through shared reading experiences.
