DESCRIPTION:\nLearn the magic of watercolor with artist Carl Stoveland. This class is designed for people with little to no watercolor experience and does simpler paintings than the intermediate class. In this class, Carl works with people who have never painted watercolor before, as well as those with some experience who prefer the slower pace and less complex paintings. Classes are held in air-conditioned classrooms. Students bring their own supplies. His seasoned experience includes serving as an artist in residence at Dry Tortugas National Park, producing photo documentary exhibits, and serving as managing partner at Gallery Meraki in Garnerville, New York, where he exhibited his work and taught photography. Carl found his passion for photography and painting while growing up hiking along trails and streams in the Catskill Mountains.
