About the Instructor

Kayla Francis is an Herbalist and the owner of Rooted Healing. She hosts local workshops educating the community on medicinal herbs, their practical uses, and how to incorporate them into your individual health journeys. Her workshops are designed to be both informative and interactive, creating a space where learning is paired with hands-on interaction. Every workshop includes a tea sampling of the herbs discussed, allowing you to connect with the plants. Kayla covers a range of topics, including herbs that are supportive for multiple body systems such as brain health, digestive health, and herbs for anxiety. She studied Herbalism at The Florida School of Holistic Living in Orlando, and graduated with a BA in Alternative Medicine from Everglades University in Boca Raton. Kayla is grateful for the opportunity to share her knowledge and love of these powerful herbal allies with everyone who attends her workshops. Her mission is to bridge the gap between Western and Herbal medicine while empowering the community with knowledge, connection, and an alternative approach to healing.
