Guided tours are led by specially-trained Mounts Docents. Prices apply to both members and non-members. The Garden Entrance donation is waived for non-members except for the Tree Treks, although we always appreciate donations to help our Garden grow.
Mounts offers guided group tours for parties of ten or more people. Come with friends, associates, a school group or a social or professional club. Your trained tour guide will take you on an interpretive tour of the Garden, highlighting our many display gardens and interesting specimens. Pre-registration is required at least three weeks prior to the tour. Children must be over the age of five to participate.
Cost: $15 per adult; $10 per child over age 5
Seniors, bring a few fellow golden agers along or come meet new people as you take a leisurely guided tour through our Garden. You’ll learn about the plants you see as you get some gentle exercise. The strolls are appropriate for people who have a health care provider’s approval to walk moderate distances on paved surfaces or mulched paths. Please pre-register on-line or by calling the Office as tour minimums and maximums apply.
Children love discovering enchanted spaces and places to call their own! Call to arrange a special Garden tour and tailored field experience for your group with our Program Coordinator and Docents/Master Gardeners. Interactive tours will focus on using the power of looking, investigating plants and flowers up close, observing creatures they’ll find in the great outdoors, or creating art with nature. Pre-registration is required at least three weeks prior to the tour date. Please call the Mounts office for details.
