Can I get a refund on my admissions ticket(s)?

Admissions tickets are nonrefundable. However, we are happy to assist in changing your tickets to another date provided you do so in advance of your original ticket date.

Can I get a refund if it rains?

We welcome visitors rain or shine. If severe weather requires us to close the Garden, we will provide rain checks for an alternate date.

Do you offer discounts on admission?

We offer discounts for seniors (65+), college students, and military.

If I purchase an admission ticket, can I leave the Garden and return the same day?

Yes! Simply show us your receipt when you return and you’re welcome to explore the Garden all day.

Do you offer daily guided tours?

While we do not currently offer scheduled daily guided tours, we are happy to schedule a guided tour for your group. Find more information here.

What credit cards and forms of payment do you accept?

Our Welcome Center and Gift Shop accepts credit card only (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Our Nursery and Vintage Garden Thrift Shop accepts credit card only (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover). We do not accept cash or checks.

Do you have wheelchairs available for use/rental?

We do not have wheelchairs available for use or rental.

Are paths easily accessible by wheelchair, electric cart, and strollers?

Yes, there are paved pathways throughout most of the garden and most non-paved paths are also easily accessible.

Do you have to stay on the paved pathways in the Garden?

We encourage visitors to explore the paved and non-paved pathways to see many of the garden’s wonders. We ask that you don’t pick flowers and fruit, take cuttings, or carve on our trees.

How long does it typically take to explore the Garden?

You can expect to spend 1 – 1 ½ hours exploring the Garden, which is approximately .5 miles. Or you’re welcome to explore at a more leisurely pace, bring a picnic lunch, journal, or sketch book and enjoy all day.

Do you have a cafe, restaurant, or snacks available at the Garden?

While we do not currently have a café, you are welcome to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy as you relax and enjoy the Garden.

Can I bring my own food and drink into the Garden?

Yes, we recommend bringing non-alcoholic beverage, snacks, or even a picnic lunch to enjoy as you relax to enjoy during your Garden visit.

Do you have animals in the Garden?

We have koi, turtles, ducks, butterflies, and a variety of birds throughout the Garden.

Can I feed the fish and turtles?

Yes, we have fish food available for $1 in our Welcome Center.

Can I bring my dog to the Garden?

Dogs are welcome in the Garden only on Dogs’ Days, the second Sunday of each month (except during events and plant sales). Service animals are permitted any time the Garden is open. Please visit our Garden Paw-licies page for more details.

Does the Garden have wireless internet access?

Yes, there is free public Wi-Fi in the Garden.

Is there air conditioning at the Garden?

Most of the Garden is outdoors. Air conditioning is available in the Welcome Center and Gift Shop, and the Exhibit Hall.

Are there shaded places to sit throughout the Garden?

You’ll find a number of shaded areas with benches and picnic tables throughout the Garden.
