Read for the Record
Join us at Mounts Botanical Garden for a special celebration of literacy and gardening!
We will be reading See Marcus Grow, written by Marcus Bridgewater and illustrated by Reggie Brown. This vibrant picture book introduces young readers to the wonders of gardening while exploring themes of curiosity, discovery, nurturing and growth. Follow young Marcus as he learns valuable life lessons from his grandmother in her garden, discovering that both children and seedlings need “water and air and sunshine. And space to grow.”
Bring your preschoolers for a morning of storytelling, learning, and fun in the Garden, and help us grow a love of reading and learning together!
