Accessibility

Wheelchairs

The main pathways throughout Mounts Botanical Garden are paved. Almost all areas are accessible by wheelchair.

Restrooms

For Phase 1 of the Garden’s Reopening, accessible restrooms are available inside the Exhibit Halls which are located in the Hutcheson Complex at the back of the Garden.

Parking

Accessible parking is available at the front of our main parking lot off Military Trail.

Service Animals

Service animals are permitted in the Garden. All service animals must be kept on a leash or harness at all times, under the direct control of the person with the disability and housebroken. Service animals may be relieved outside of the Garden next to our front or rear parking lots and waste must be disposed of properly.

Sensory Backpacks

Sensory backpacks are available at the Welcome Center & Gift Shop for visitors with sensory sensitivities. Designed to help families feel more prepared and confident to engage during their visit to the Garden, and adjust to new faces, new activities, bright lights, a range of noise levels, and so many other sensory experiences, the backpacks include tools to help children and adults either calm down or stimulate their senses, including noise-cancelling headphones, polarized sunglasses, and a variety of fidget devices.
